Hi ppl.!

If you don't know by now, Sysopt is under a lot of changes (good or bad, depends on your view but we will keep this out of here ;) ). So as Sysopt is changing, the Dsitributed Computing Teams are changing too so listen up.!

Randy and co. wanted to rename Team Sysopt to Team TechIMO but since we needed input from everyone in the team (and didn't have it because most of them are inactive) RC opted to make a new team (Team TechIMO). You can move to the new team by going to this page:

and put your email address in the box!

Notice... YOU WILL NOT LOSE YOUR CURRENT POINTS... THEY WILL GET TRANSFERRED.!!

Drop by the DC forums (be it here or in techimo) and check randy's updates.!!

How long does it take to propagate to the new team?

This happens instantly. Once you put your email in the box, you are of to the new team!!! You just have to wait for the Notre Dame guys to update (I think they update 4 times a day) and your name and stats will appear under TechIMO.!

Hi Steve! Oh.. and congrats..!!

Anyway, it has taken us quite sometime to communicate with them since they seem to be inactive (hence me posting the same thing in the most frequented boards!! -- sorry for that ;) ).
We have tried mail, PM's, you name it.!

Thanks for making it sticky (it would be great if you could do the same for the others!!!!!) and I think that it would be very helpfull if you left it for a few more days.!!!

Yes. When you transfer, you go away with your current points.!
Go To : http://www.nd.edu/~cmonico/eccp/team112.html
and sign up for the team by writing your email (the same one you are using for storing the points!).

Simple.!

Well then... I'm on that like... Well I'll leave that up for the imagination. :D

Now I have more problems. I add my email addy that is registered here and this is what I get:

Unknown user. You must submit some results before joining a team!
If you've already submitted some results, perhaps you mis-typed your email address.


Any clues?
