Good score BTW.
I'm in Christchurch, how about you?
I think anyone with a Geforce3 should be capable of reaching nearly 6000 :) Especially if my ****ty old Celeron can do it!
I'm up in balmy Palmy.
Yeah i was thinking that too, i'm looking to get a GF3, as my GF2Pro seems to be playing up a lot lately... (heaps of artifacts being placed all over the screen, when in OGL... dunno why)

should i overclock my proc?
the xenon, why do you need to overclock your prcoessor? Just to satisfy your BENCHMARKS?
yeah
and to get a personal satisfaction too ;) besides i have nothing to do and no money to buy new hardware :o
YOU SEE. You said you don't have money to buy new hardware. Lets say when you overclocked it, the CPU burnt and got bad?? What are you going to do then? WARRANTY void then. So my advice if you have no money, don't overclock ;)Quote:

If you have lots of bucks laying around (which i don't have:( ) then just waste it and keep overclocking.

Just got this Radeon 8500 and it seems to be a fine card; now I need a new DDR MB to go with it. Still not bad for a nearly year old board and an overclocked 1 Gig chip.Mad Onion ScoreLink
nice scores are u over clocked rachaelsdad
Yes I have a kk266 with a 1 Gig at 10@151 CAS 2-2-2. The Radeon is at 300/300 and it can go higher but since it is new do not feel like pushing it too much.
Once you unlock your CPU and get your FSB up a little;play with the memory timings your scores are going to jump way up. The Radeon is a good card but your system will scorch mine with a little tweaking.:D

After some additional OCing of my GF2MX400 with 64MB RAM, I've got better results (results are in 3DMarks 2001):
Previous: 220/420 - 2777 3DMarks;
Overclocked: 225/430 - 2843 3DMarks.
I can get even higher and reach the pure GF2 results, but I need a HS to my RAM and FAN to my GPU (the card I've bought has only HS on the GPU, and works just perfectly even OCed to 220/420 :)).

Sorry about the messup. I was copying and pasty some of my system specs from SANDRA and I must have copied half of the name of my two video cards. I have two cards and not three my mistake. But I was only testing one of my cards. My other card is a TNT2. Here is the real specs. I didn't get my MOBO from inyourdreams.com but from www.computers.com. Maybe i should re-read my posts more often.
