Mouse setting resets itself

Hi guys, I have a Razer Diamondback that I have just recently installed in an old system.

Everytime I check the setting "Enhance pointer precision" in Mouse settings under Control Panel, the check disappears upon each new reboot.

I tested further and it seems like everytime I load up the Razer config from the tray icon, and click OK to close it, this box unchecks itself as well.

Is there some way to make the setting stay?
