Stupid question about floppy cable.

It has been awhile since I have used ribbon cables. All of my computers have had nice factory rounded ones for quite awhile. I am building a computer for a friend of mine and I can't remember if the ribbon cable that has a twist goes to the floppy or the CD roms.

Does the ribbon cable with a twist go to the floppy drive?

I know it's a stupid question but I really can't remember.

As Speedo said, yes. But also, the last connector goes to the A: drive. Behind the twist goes to the B: drive, if one is present. We had a guy here awhile back, that had cut the last end off sence he was only using one floppy drive..and he could not get his A: drive to work. When the dust settled, we found out that he had trimmed the floppy cable back by cutting off the end connector right after the B: connector. So, he had a B: drive instead of an A: drive, but had the A: drive enabled and the B: drive disabled in the bios...wouldn't work that way...
