I need a photo or drawing showing me how the ground wire is suppose to be connected. The bypass switch lever is different from traditional meter boxes. I think that I have it wired right but I need to verify.
Thanks for the link but I had found that also & it didn't answer any of my questions.
This is the old box. The new boxes have a lever like handle like a slot machine. Its Illinois law. The lever is located on the inside the meter box.
Same idea, (bypass the meter).

BTW, this is not only unsafe, it's illegal.
In Illinois we have to have the box with the bypass switch. I don't know what you mean by illegal?
Legal wiring would be without the two red wires.
I'm not gonna use the red wire. Could you tell me about the red wires? I have the 3 wires coming from service entrance & the 3 from inside the house. My problem is the ground bushing. Do I connect to the ground bushing & stop or connect it from the ground bushing to somewhere else. I will take photo tomorrow.
Do I stop at the ground bushing?
Last question do the service entrance ground wire & the ground wire from inside connect always in the middle of the meter box?
