SSHDs are a waste of money. I made the mistake of buying one.
i want to buy it :))
will get 1tb SSD (300chf/usd)and run win7-64 16gb ram on my old dualcore. only reflecting if swapfile-exclusive SSD 256gb on slow slot will cut down speed. maybe better using second speedy slot for that and install pci-card for esata-drive.
I would install to the small one and use the big one for storage and swap file.
And as SSDs are so fast, I don't think the swap file will ever be hit.
good idea. additional big-storage data onto slow sata-slot with pci-card.
will use the new 2TB HDD then for backup of winxp-hdd.
We want windows C\ drive to be the fastest we can get.
It would all depend on your budget.
