eSata-USB-cable for external SATA-drives-dont understand
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-inch-Har...sAAOSw5cNYGcRm
dont understand:
1. Note: Powered through the USB port, but not for transmitting data.
2. Usage:
2.5 inch SATA interface connected to the SATA hard disk connector, connect eSATA connector to the computer's eSATA port, and then the USB cable connect to the computer's USB port.
Why 2.5 inch SATA interface? why not 2.5/3.5? isnt it compatible?
If you use it with your 3.5 or 5.5" HDD, then please make sure that your USB devices offer 12V Power
there are universal enclosers for 2.5/3.5 Sata even for IDE.
Can i use my 3.5 SATA on esata plus extra-powered USB-slots.Thanks a lot
are highspeed-sata-cables downwards-compatible? e.g. this here
