05/22/2009 Weekly CPU Prices - Week of May 18, 2009
Alas, the recent trend of stagnant CPU pricing continues for yet another week, with the overwhelming majority of the prices we track in this guide holding right where they've been for weeks. While a few (literally) did manage to keep the guide from being a complete wash, price drops were a scarce commodity in this week's edition.

05/15/2009 Weekly CPU Prices - Week of May 11, 2009
As we've grown far too accustomed to seeing, and to reporting, this week's CPU price guide contains little in the way of downward price movement. A handful experienced minor drops and a few others moved slightly upwards. But by and large, prices held right where they've been for weeks.

05/08/2009 Weekly CPU Prices - Week of May 4, 2009
Significant price drops, we're sorry to report, are nowhere to be found in this week's CPU price guide. A few small and scattered drops might help keep this week's guide from being a total wash. But these were so small and so scattered that there just isn't much to get excited about in this week's guide.

05/01/2009 Weekly CPU Prices - Week of April 27, 2009
Unfortunately, our hopes for an uptick in price drops have gone unrealized, as this week's prices hold about as steady as we've ever seen them. Only a few of the prices we track fell at all, in fact; and none of those fell by enough to merit much in the way of notice.

04/24/2009 Weekly CPU Prices - Week of April 20, 2009
While the majority of the prices we tracked in this week's guide held fairly steady, several fell from last week's prices and a handful fell by significant enough amounts to merit the attention of prospective CPU buyers. Hopefully, the coming weeks will see such drops become less the exception and more the norm.

04/17/2009 Weekly CPU Prices - Week of April 13, 2009
All in all, it's been another slow week for CPU price changes. A few price are scattered throughout the guide, along with a few price increases. But by and large, most of the prices we track continued to stagnate for yet another week.

04/09/2009 Weekly CPU Prices - Week of April 6, 2009
This week's prices, unfortunately, were about as stagnant as we've seen them in a while. Nowhere in the guide, in fact, are you going to see much in the way of downward price movement, with only a few dropping at all and none dropping by very much. But buyers will nonetheless get a whole lot of bang for buck, as quad-core processors from either of the camps can be had for under $200.
