    A Fax From A ENTHERNET Modem??

    I have a scanner with a built in FAX.... I cant send a fax to another fax machine.... It has to find a driver, Windows XP could not find a driver for it.... Well, heres the FAX PRINTER....

    And heres the LAN card.... I figured if you could dial on "DIALPAD" on a cable modem, why not send faxes???...

    Ok, let me put this in another way... Can you FAX from a cable modem? Or do you have to have ONLY a dial-up FAX MODEM?

    No, not directly. You can go to a web site that faxes for you - like www.efax.com. Good luck!
