GREAT NEWS!!!

I haven't been around much in the last couple months and do miss the sysopt crew. While I was away from sysopt something wonderful happened. I got engaged!!!! I took my (now fiancé) for a picnic up to Jones Lake Mountain (in BC.) I found a beautiful and secluded spot surrounded by a big lake and lots of mountain. After the picnic was done I brought her a rose, inside the bud of the rose was the engagement ring. When she went to smell the rose she saw the ring and she flipped (you know how girls do). It was Beautiful and it has made me the happiest man in the world. We set the date for next August 24, we are both Italian, so it’s gonna be a big one. I’m a little nervous now, but very excited.

WOOOHOOO!!!!!

Congrats! That's a huge leap in life to take. I'm probably doing the same in 2 years or so.

Good idea about the ring in the rose!

Congrats! I wish you the best!

Dave

PS- I think my fiancee has a link to a site where you can overclock the engagement ring...

Thanks!!

Yeah, the ring in the rose went over pretty good. It was funny though, every time I have given her a rose, she would smell the rose. this time, because she was a little overwhelmed with the picnic and feeding her grapes and bein romantic, that when I gave her the rose, instead of smelling it she put it down and gave me a hug. hehe. I had to tell her to smell the rose. It was pretty funny to see the look on her face when she did.

What a feeling though...
