The latest Bios for a KT7 abit is a Beta KT7-YP.b01!

This was the first Bios that let Me boot up right using PC133 case 3 -448mb at alu=519 and FPU= 611. Before I could only get much less. setting for memory turned all the way up case 2 , turbo, 4wey,ect.

Flashing is fun, but do not lose power or your in trouble. I must have flashed this kt7 three or four time's. it's like putting a fresh face on.

Hey, Sun..., Congrats on your success, but did you arrive at 448mb of memory by (I assume) using a 256, a 128, and a 64 simm?

I was just wondering if the mismatched simms might be the cause of you having to resort to slower settings previously. Do you really need 448mb of memory? Maybe removing the 64mb simm would allow for even more tweaks in the future. (like using a slightly higher FSB and a lower multiplier to really maximize those scores..!)

Good Luck!

Could be but that extra memory is good for running a lot of programs at one time, 512mb-does not work well. I turned it down for stablity, I do not play video game's much, so more speed don't really do that much. The only upgrade that would really do something is a 1000mz althon chip.
