Question ADI monitor problem

I've had an ADI MicroScan 6P for some time now (1 1/2 years +/-) and it's already been back for repair. When I got it back it wouldn't hold adjustment after having gone to power-down or stand-by mode. I e-mailed tech support and never did get a reply but after about 2-3 days it didn't do it anymore. It's been working fine now for 8-10 months but yesterday it started up again. The only thing I can associate it with (and this may be totally coincidental) is with the installation of Forsaken which crashed because I didn't have Intel's Indeo5 installed on that machine. After I re-booted is when the screen size started to shrink and off-set. I use this monitor to switch back and forth between my business box and my gamer via a KVM switch which I've been using for 12 months with no apparent problems. Could it be the switch that's causing the problems? I will take it out of the loop and see if that solves the mystery. Any help would be appreciated.

It might be the switch. any loose connection can adversly affect the performace and behaviour of the monitor. check it.
