    DELL Server Repetitive beep

    I am getting a constant repetitive beep from this DELL PowerEdge 1600SC Server. driving me nuts. only thing i could find was that drive D was almost out of space. did a disk cleanup and freed up 966MB of space. OS is up and running but, it is still beeping. any ideas??

    did you check for a scsi controller card? some of those have built in speaker for when there are drive problems.

    yeah, finally got on with DELL. it had a failed physical drive. having to do a rebuild.
