'Bye, Bye' Baby: Mother, Son Booted From Plane

Quote:
A mother and her son were booted off a plane after a flight attendant became upset when the 19-month-old kept saying "Bye, bye plane" as the aircraft prepared for liftoff.
Quote:
"She leaned over the gentleman who was sitting next to me, and she said, 'OK, it's not funny anymore. You need to shut your baby up," Penland said.
By the time the plane had taxied to the gate, Garren was fast asleep, Penland said.

If other passengers can officially verify that the mother didn't threaten the flight attendant, there's an easy resolution for this.

The flight attendant must apologize publicly for her behavior while admitting that she lied. Then she should be forced to pay, out of her paycheck, the room, food, and reasonable incidentals incurred by the mother and son after being booted. Then, the airline, being the ultimate responsible party, should give the mother two round-trip tickets anywhere they fly and also issue a public apology.

Anything more than that is too much in punitive damages. Anything less than that means that idiots can get away with anything in the name of "9/11" these days.

I wish they had Adults only flights, I hate kids on planes. Put them in the cargo hold.

Truth is, some of you here are far more annoying than any kid I've encountered. Why not just ban YOU from flying, instead?
