Missing 'Network Neighbourhood' icon from desktop.

Just in addition to my last post concerning the msnp32.dll file problem that I am having. I have read information on the net that I could be having this trouble because the Network Neighbourhood icon is missing from the Win98SE desktop ( I always delete it and have never had trouble before). Can someone tell me how to reinstall/replace it on the desktop please?

You should be able to go into your display properties and on one of the tabs, it has options to show ro hide the desktop icons. Network Neighboorhood should be one of them.

I don't have 98 here so I can not be more specific.

old tunzafun.....

Yes it shows up in Control Panel/networking, but as I said in my post, 'I deleted the Network Neighbourhood icon from the desktop'.

Get tweakui, there should be an option in there to put it back.

You can use TweakUI or you can remove and reinstall Client for Microsoft Networks.
