ToCA Rave Driver problem

I've installed ToCA Rave Driver and everything runs beautifully with no lag on high settings. After starting a new career, for the first 4 or 5 races it's all fine with no problems, but than after selecting to race the 5th or 6th race, the game goes into a black screen momentarily, and than just goes back to Windows.

If I run the game again, and load, I try again (selecting "race") but the same thing...black screen , Windows.

Any help is appreciated as the game looks great and I hope to be able to finish it before getting ToCA Race Driver 2.

Oh yeah, I'm running XP Professional, latest sound and graphics drivers etc.
