Hiroshima (1995)

Does anyone here in SysOpt know where I can buy the movie "Hiroshima"? (http://www.imdb.com/Title?0113309) It seems as if Amazon.com ran out of it (and it's been out of it for a very long time) and the seller who's selling it @ eBay doesn't have it anymore. So, any help would be appreciated if you guys know an online retailer that sells this movie.

The Fuhrer

I didn't Know this film. I'll look it up for a quiet evening sometime.

In a true democracy everybody would have at least one of the weapons. (Ducks swiftly and exits left)

People. We are a tragedy.

Whats the deal here with the allowing of A. Hitler as a nickname and the signature of "the fuhrer". Or is it what the hell, the world needed more lampshades and soap anyway.

bushmaster, I had been thinking the same thing myself since he joined started flaming people! As my other post suggests I think he a existing member trying to cause problems.

I am positive the Mods know of his existence and indeed he should tread carefully!

However, try www.play.com they have a good back-catalog of DVD's.

Thanx Doc. But heck with treading carefully, either the owners of this site support the final solution or they don't.
Names like that should be filtered out upon sign-up. Do ya think I would last long signed up as Osama Bin Laden ?

hitler was the cause of all of our problems today. if it hadn't been for hitler, who served in the German Army in WWI, we wouldn't live in a war-torn world. however, after doing much research, i came to the conclusion that britain, france, and russia are also responsible for the rise of hitler. if it hadn't been for them, if they hadn't declared war on austria-hungary just because ferdinard was assassinatted, then we would all live peacefully and happily ever after.

Dont get me started on WWI, a pointless war, simple power games between relatives, a war of no necessity which gave rise to the second WW which truly was a war of necessity.

Britain, France and the US all have major responsibilty mostly due to the terms of the treaty of Versialles which were riduclously strict. However the Germans themselves, especially the military high command with their political jockeying and blameshifting following defeat also had a large hand in Hitlers rise to power and had the extreme right not taken over, then it would have been the extreme left in their place and Germany would most probably have been absorbed into the USSR.

The state the allies left Germany in following WWI was not one of which we should be proud, however Germany itself turned on those with its best interests at heart following the 'myth of the stab in the back' propelled largely by the shamefaced high command of the German army who refused to be blamed for their defeat, one figure in paticular who keeps cropping up in this capacity is Erich Ludendorrf, the man probably most responsible for turning Germans against the democratic process and a known supported of Hitler.

Hitler wasnt the only one they should have stopped at Munich (the reason why they didnt is another story of hypocrisy and corruption at the top in itself), they should have stopped Ludendorrf too
