Who makes Polaroid 32x10x40 cdrw drive ???

Who makes Polaroid 32x10x40 cdrw drive ???
I got a deal on one but it hasn't been delivered yet. I'd like to know the manufacturer, if it is a good one I'll keep it, otherwise I'll sell it without opening the box. Thanks

You got it at a good price. Why worry?

I was curious because I purchased 2 cd-rom drives at Best Buy one time, both Atlas brand, one 24x and one 40x. The 24x was an NEC, excellent product. The 40x turned out to be a Wearnes, basic junk. Anyway the Polaroid cdrw drive just came and was not sealed so I opened it and it is a Top-G brand, whatever that is. It came from Office Max and was not properly packaged. The retail packaging for the drive is all smashed in and damaged. It appears Office Max shipped it out
like this. They threw the box into a large box without any peanuts or packing.
