SUPER PI Participants!

This benchmark runs a loop through three items:
1) CPU it depends heavily on instructions per clock cycle.
2) Chipset Northbridge
3) Memory
The greater amount of information that can be processed in one CPU clock cycle means improved time. However, the next loop of numbers is stored in memory. So part of the overall performance depends on two separate aspects of your machine. Memory timing, since a faster CAS and settings speed can get the numbers to the CPU for the next loop faster, and lastly (but of equal importance) how fast the Northbridge of your chipset can transfer the info to the CPU. So please include your:

A: Memory Timing Speeds
And
B: Your Chipset information.
If you tweak your memory timing you will see improved performance. But it’s the OC’d boards that really burn this benchmark up. I’ve seen OC’d 1.4ghz T-birds run in under 1 minute.

I set my 1.4GHz t-bird to 1.5GHz and my score went from 1m44s down to 1m39s. A slight improvment i suppose

You ran the 512k when you shoulda run the 1M. I run the 512 in 7 seconds.

My 3700+ SD did the 1M in 32 seconds . Something isn't quite right. You should be faster but it isn't important anyway.
