Microsoft updates??

Yesterday we got an update from microsoft on 3 of our 5 computers at work. Today we can not send our files on the CP's that were update but we can on the other. Can you tell me how to remove the new updates and where to find them. we have Win XP and win Vista.
Thank you so much.

Are you the sytems administrator? do you have Admin rights on the machine? if you do you need to go to control panel Add/remove program selec the box on the top that says show updates and remove what ever update MS installed last-night. Depending on your access level you may not be able to remove that update.

You just got an update yesterday? That is odd. Most updates are posted on the second Tuesday of the month. There are 6 new ones coming out next week.

There were a couple for Vista, Malicious Software Removal Tool update was one of them. Do not remember the other one off hand but think it was a update for IE7.
