Whatever you do, don't go for newer ATI AGP cards. Trust me, I made the same mistake on my system. They use non-standard ATI chipsets that normal Catalyst drivers don't work with. AMD makes (untested & unsupported) AGP hotfix drivers for 2xxx/3xxx AGP cards but they're very buggy and often cause my graphics card to crash...and sometimes the whole system. You can use ATI Omega Drivers, but they're sluggish (based on older versions of drivers), and have graphical issues of their own from various modifications implemented in them. Some people get games to work well on them, but it's been very hit and miss in my experience.
To be honest, you wouldn't see much of an improvement on an upgrade, anyway. For games the card _does_ work with properly my 2600 pushes high framerates, but AGP (like Midknyte said) puts a damper on the gains. Plus the same cards for newer hardware are cheaper as they adhere to PCI-e, the current standard.
While I can't confirm this, I also heard that 3650's don't perform that well on systems running single core cpu's, so that would be something to consider as well.
Gaming is as it should be now. The downside to this is that I replaced a 6400GT. I paid about 5 years ago $450.00 for that card. Thankfully this card only cost me $60.00
