Look at ATI for a "for sure" piece of hardware, they have great products---but there are others available trying to equal ATI's reputation...

Edit---&gt; for some reason I have a desire for a cocktail now??? OH man (caught myself)...no way would Jack+coke be considered a "cocktail"... <IMG SRC="http://b.postmypic.com/b.nsf/Z/MOD4BRLC/$file/MOD4.jpg" border=0>

ATI All In Wonder Pro is pretty good. I have a friend that uses it and it comes with pretty good editing program. The only thing I don't like about it is that they can't overcome the length of the computer to TV cable used. you only get about 8' to play with. In other words, you have to hae your TV right next to your puter to view anything from your puter to the TV and visa versa.

Cheers!

Yep, they are referred to as "video capture cards".
But I'm going to have to break from the group and recommend the Matrox Marvel G400-TV. I first tried the ATI All-in-Wonder 128 capture card and had compatability problems with my VIA MVP3 chipset. Then installed the Matrox card and have been running smooth since.
The ATI setup usually wins out over the Matrox in the online reviews, but not by much. Both are very capable products.

Good Luck!
