Nero 5.5 & EasyCD 5 on the same PC

Hi,

Can anyone pleas tell me if there would be a problem running Nero 5.5 & EasyCD 5 on my Windows Xp Pro PC (obviously not running at the same time)

I like EasyCd but would like to use Nero to create SVCD's using MPEG 2 files.

I have a Yamaha 8824 CDRW drive

Its been quite a while since I've seen it, but there was something at the nero web site about running nero with other burning software. At that time there was a utility posted that would not load the dll files that caused the problem and load the files you needed for the program you wanted to run. Or something like that. Check the web site.

I am running Win2K with Nero 5.5.5.6 and Easy CD 5.02c Platinum on the same box without any conflict, also Clone CD and FireBurner.

I am using Nero 5.5.7 , along with Roxio CD Creator 5.02 without any conflicts running Win XP Pro. Just make sure you go to www.roxio.com to update your CD creator software utilizing the Win XP patch. After installing CD Creator 5, immediately install the XP patch, then do a reboot. These are the instructions that were given at the Roxio website
