How many of ones system resources are used by using a system resource meter to view everything else. In other words how much system resources does a system resource meter use?
A perfectly stupid thread! This shoud be good?:p

LMAO,
Well I'm not too sure however if I ever figure how long a piece of string is I think I would be well on the way to figuring this one.
:D
I don't find this question stupid at all.
In my case, in WinXP Pro, Task Manager (a.k.a "System Resource Meter") is using ~1% of CPU time (1GHz T-Bird) and ~1.5MB of memory (~1.3 of it is Virtual).
So my pick would pretty much be "I've read goofier ones than this" :)

I thought it was a good question.
But at idle mine shows 0%.

hehehehe.....Like how to get a 5 1/4 floppy into a 3 1/2 floppy drive....You fold it in half.....:D
But at idle mine shows 0%.
It can't be 0%. If it loaded, it uses some CPU time, it just doesn't show values below Zero. I once had some program which actually showed me below-Zero values, 0.144% for example. I'll post back if I recall it's name ...
