ok I never use internet explorer, but my uncle does and needs to upgrade. (from 3.0, aparently it has no java support. that's what he says anyway) I remeber a while back hearing about some version having a lot of problems, but it not being an issue to me, I didn't pay any atention. so now I'm wondering, should 5.0 be ok? I have that on CD. Also 4.01 sp1.

5.0 should be okay. 5.5 is the newest,but I don't think there's much difference between them.I'm using 5.5 on a P166 with win95 and works fine.

5.5 is having problems being a little slugish upon loading. I would suggest loading up 5.01 for a good browser.
