Needs help for my Office 97 (Word 97) !!!

Recently my girl friend's Pc (Windows 95B with 64MB of RAm) and installed with Office 97 SR-2. Every single time when she wants to insert a bullet, her Word 97 is crashed witht he following pop up messsage:

WINWORD.EXE: Error Message:"invalid Page Fault (IPF) in Module Mso97.dll at 0137:3070af05.

I did a search at MS Knowlege Base and got the solution, Q160552 and that does not work.


I also uninstall the entire Office 97 and reboot her PC and then reinstall Office 97 back to her PC, still no luck at all.

So any idea how to fix this ? Please advise.

Uninstall Office again and this time delete the Office folder in the Program Files directory. Now reinstall again.

Uninstalling Office and deleting the Office folder alone won't clean your system completely, and your reinstall may still not correct this. There is a cleaning tool at the MS Office site that's used to remove the bits left after an uninstall.
