go to internet options, click on advance tab, if checked, uncheck disable debugging box
Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Scripting errors

Thanks for that tip, maybe you know the answer to this one: in IE 5.5 whenever I check Notify when download complete it doesn't stay check after a reboot.
