Check out gigabyte, msi (microstar), asus and maybe tyan boards with the via kt266a chipset. All are recognized to produce very stable boards with some potential to overclock if you want to, but that's a different topic to cover.

For what it's worth, I have an MSI 6330 motherboard that is very stable.

How about the MSI KT3 Ultra ARU (http://www.msicomputer.com/product/detail_spec/KT3Ultra_aru.htm)?

My choice for my next system. KT333 chipset, ATA133 on all 4 IDE connectors, Promise RAID controller, 4 USB 1 ports, 4 USB 2 ports, onboard 5.1 surround sound. Perfect for gaming.
