Identify pc

In our company, we have a number of different models of pc by different manufactures.
Does anybody know of a batch utility that can be run to determine what make and model of pc is being analysed?

Sisoft sandra seems to give a pretty detailed list of who, what and where.

Ya can d/l it at www.softseek.com (http://www.softseek.com) under benchmark and utilities, or just type it in the search box.

Here's a little trick you can try just for the fun of it. It won't hurt anything:
Open regedit and follow this path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\DescriptionSystem\Cent ralProcessor\0

Double-click on VendorIdentifier and put a space between "Genuine" and "Intel" or make some other edit in this line. Now open the System Properties. Underneath the Genuine Intel line, you’ll see that your CPU comes from the "x86 Family X Model Y Stepping [version] Z," where X, Y, Z are the appropriate values in your system. Close System Properties, reopen the Registry key and the same information will be seen on the Identifier line. Restart Windows 98 and the default information will be restored. (This tip has not been tested on all non-Intel systems. Get back into the key after re-booting to make sure it has returned to normal.)
