I had the same thing a while ago.I thought it was the "del" key but then it turned out to be a different key. Sometimes its the "shift" or one of the "F" keys. It depends on the bios.(Adaptec,Phoenix etc they are all different) I hope this helps a bit. jmichna 02-25-2002, 11:54 AM F10, F2, and shift-del are some other key combinations I've come across over the years to get into BIOS settings. jmichna Ammok 02-25-2002, 04:52 PM and ESC too Imperion1 02-25-2002, 07:16 PM Welcome stephannie. Is your computer a pre-built (Dell, Compaq, HP, etc) or one that either you built or had someone build for you? This kinda determines which key needs to be pressed. Usually while booting, when the memory is being read, it should tell you at the bottom of the screen which button to press. hyborn 02-26-2002, 06:42 AM If all else fails, remember that you can change your jumpers and wipe the CMOS. Although only try this if you are sure what you are doing ! SysOpt.com
