Quick format only erase the table of content, to use RW/CD it has to be fully formatted.

I cant seem to locate the option for quick format when i want it. when i start to create disk, it only offers to full format. somewhere in my system is a quick format I dont know when or how the option appears?

If you are referring to the option to start writing data to your burner and then format as needed, that option is part of DirectCD and usually only available to CDR disks, not CDRW disks. Or so I've found in the past.

If you are using Direct CD, my personal recommendation is just use CD R disks. They don't need any formatting. The difference between using the CD RW and CD R disks is that once the space has been written, with CD R disks you cannot rewrite.

But over time, you can keep adding folders, files, and also delete such unitl the disk is completely full. Just keep the disk open. Closing and opening the Direct CD disks uses a tremendous amount of space.

If you plan to share the files with a computer that doesn't have a CD burner, just master (ISO) the disk.

Ok, Well I am totaly confused. Iswear I have quick formatted CDRW"S. It always says this will only takes 1-2 minutes. As stated earlier, I just dont know how to get there from here!

i have no ttried to use CDR"S for the purpose of copying files for other systems to share. Well maybe this is the way to go. I have seen the "keep session open" notes. still, ithought I was able to quick format. Thanks for reply's

You might be able to trigger the quick format when dragging and dropping onto CDRW icon....
