Has anyone come across a good Playstation emulator that will work in WindowsXP. I have tried a couple "Windows" PSX emulators and XP pops up with a "Not compatible with Win32" error.

I am trying to run actual Playstation discs in the drive, not ROMS.

For what it's worth, I've got a PIII 1.0G, 512MB, 40Gig, GeForce2 MX400, WinXP Pro

Actually, I did find ePSXe. I found it just yesterday!
I've gotten it to work with Nascar 2001, and Driver 2 so far.

The biggest problem I have now is finding a comfortable framerate. It wants to run full-bore at about 300 frames/sec. It then creates a problem with sound.. It keeps stuttering to keep up. When I limit the frames to around 100-200/sec, it starts skipping.

But it does work! :)

well if you want the exact PSX speed and accuracy or you want to play the actual Playstation core engine and the exact accuracy of functional Playstation try Virtual Game Station or VGS, but if your after the graphics and not the right accurate speed including compatibility try epsxe. if you dint have VGS ask for it from me hehehehe
