whats the best game controller something like the playstaion controllers. I already have my cable modem hooker up through the usb port so would a game controller hooked up through another usb port be a big bottle neck

I like games that favor using a mouse. For driving games, I like the freestyle controllers.

For FPS I stick with Keyboard and mouse. (Don't install any mouse drivers!!)
For Comanche, Mechwarrior and driving got Logitech Rumblepad which is great.
USB should not be a bottlekneck, most PC'c have 2 or 4 USB ports.

I use the Logitech Wingman Extreme!

I love this controller. It is USB and I have had no issues for over a year.

Actually, I've got a couple of game controllers that I like. Originally, I was using the digital Gravis Xterminator game pad. It fit comfortably in my hand and has a nice feel to it, but during intense gaming, my hands begin to slide forward on the controller. I switched over to the Logitech Wingman Extreme and everything seems so perfect. I think I saw a package deal that includes 2 Wingman controllers and EA's latest football game together. I would avoid the clunkier Microsoft offerings. They've never impressed me at all.
