Hi i need to up my ram i have one stick of some cheap 128meg ram in my system now. I was wondering with the droping prices in ram should i go for 2 sticks of high quaility 256 meg pc-133 or go with 2 sticks of 128meg pc-150 ram? I'm looking to overclock, but more memory is always better. ALso is ECC better than non-ECC or does it slow the computer down because of all the error checking it does? THanks

High Quality U say? Sound like you got alot of money to spare. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif why not go for Generic quality it is only 10 percent slower and 50 percent cheaper and U can buy 3-4 256 meg instead. Don't get ECC, it is a hell of alot more expensive then non ECC and well it slow everything down with all the error checking.

Just get the PC133 memory, since you can just increase the voltage and spend a few dollars on a cooler.
