need top circuit board, Casio QV-200 camera

I just bought a used QV-300 and a QV-200 for $30 (didn't think I could get hurt to bad).

The 300 works OK, but at some point the batteries leaked in the 200. Everything works but the contact switch for the shutter button (D'oh). Does anyone know a source for new/used parts for digital cameras? How about a dicussion board specifically for multimedia devices?

I've removed the all the residue I could from both sides of the board with a toothbrush. Can anyone suggest a chemical treatment (there may be gunk inside the contact switch)? The green surface is flaking off both sides of the board, but the circuits appear intact. Any points on re-soldiering a contact switch?

Muriatic Acid 30% , masonry cleaner.
$4.00 gl at hardware stores.

Neutralize with baking soda.

Lubricate contacts with petroleum jelly.

If it cleans masonry, It is obvious that getting it on Human flesh would be dangerous.

This stuff starts SMOKING when you remove the cap !!

I use it in restoration of old cars that are rusty, or other metal items.

It eats the corrosion away very quickly, making a TOXIC cloud in the process, DON'T BREATHE IT.

Also it is a great CLEANER for the preparation of solder joints.

I also use it in battery compartments of remote controls etc..

Muriatic acid 20% is what we put in our swimming pools here in Florida to adjust the PH. DO NOT get it in your eyes or on your skin.
