Help!!!

Here is my prob.

Im a gammer and I got sick of the lag from my 56k connection And the cable company just got done putting in Cable internet servise so im thinking GREAT no more gaming prob's. yeah right i cant play games at all now when i connect to game spy arcade it comes up as Proxy or Firewall Detected.... Your computer's Internal ip address is different than its Externally known ip address This may be due to an firewall, NAT proxy or other unusual network configuration, and it prevents most games from working properly as a host.
So i tryied to join games by ip only it wont connect me, I cant join games or host games , the cable company says oh yeah we dont support online games So i said great ya tell me this now after i signed a 6 month contract with them.

Is there some way around this ? im running Windows ME I have no fire wall and I only have 1 computer (no router)

I think you need to talk to the game sites to get them to start supporting this type of setup. People that are using the faster cable modem connections need to be supported.
