I Have About Ten Freinds Playing At My Lan Parties Now, I Use All Linksys Parts, Switches And Nic's .But I Was Wondering, Is There A Better Performing Nic Out There As Far As Gaming Goes, It Seems The P4 Guys Have Higher Frags, Well I Guess Bigger Faster Systems. We All Ping Around 20 While Playing Counter Strike But Is There A Nic That Could Increase My Chances Of Winning A Game !! Not That Im Trying To Get The Upper Hand Or Anything .

Get a 3Com 905 TXM management NIC.
It will set you back about 120.00 but runs very well on any network.

The P4 guys probably have higher frags because they're more serious about gamming and have shelled out the bucks for a beefier system...

Jonma is right, in our own lan parties, there are 2 players running with older ISA NE2000 cards, and one of them is near the top, he would just need more practice.
