E Machines propietary?

I have to do a format and install on an E Machine computer tommorrow due to a virus. Just wondering if the hard drives are set up stupid like compaqs are.

Shouldnt be a prob, there is a restore disk with everything on it, the owner "should" have it...without it? good luck...

Thanks tkp, he said he has the restore disk so i am hoping its not a big chore.

It won't be a big chore at all just boot up with the disk and let it do everything.
