I upgraded my Geforce2mx to a Geforce3 TI 200. It took months but nvidia finally got twinview to do what i wanted it to. I could play movies on dvd on my tv while using my pc. (dvd was in a little window.) Now i know my Geforce3 (visiontek) cant do that, but when i watch full screen video on the tv out, its all fuzzy. I can view 3D and normal 2D fine, but full screen playback of video is blurry and DVD just wont play. anyone know how i can work on this?
Try upgrading drivers for all the involved equipment. Also try switching to another DVD player, such as PowerDVD 4/XP, I had no problems whatsoever with it, using about same configuration (and DetXP v22.80).

you got them to play on the monitor? or on the tv full screen? hmm im using the latest 23.11 det drivers are the older better? i just set up a dual boot with win 98se we will see how that works. btw i was using both media player, and WinDVD (latest)
Playback was on TV, smooth as silk. Also tried it with newest v27.42 - same thing, great quality.
v23.11 was buggy as hell, ruined my setup completely :(
Also, try PowerDVD, I like it a lot better.

Thanks I installed the drivers you mentioned, and i was able to play clear full screen video on tv, i still cant watch DVD with winDVD but power dvd played fine, except for some spikes in horizontal, but that could be to my wireless A/V sender. i wonder how these new drivers affect my other issues with xp like max payne only playing 1 level then dying, or my TV wonder not doing anything. thanks alot again big help
Glad I was able to help you a little
Didn't try "Max Payne", but have you patched it with latest version (1.4 I believe) ? It might help you especially if you running W2K/XP.
And you can try to solve the "spikes" issue by clearing the way of signal of any unnecessary electric devices.

tv tool makes me happy, that in combonation with power dvd, (windvd wont work on tv, but i use it for monitor) and my dvd looks amazing, i then use my x10 (i bought it before their pop up ads swooped in like locus) entertainment anywhere. so i can use my universal remote control to control the dvd playing from the bed room while i watch it on the tv in the living room. thanks all. i also just got powerdvd XP havent tried it out yet.
