I found out the hard way(not that it really matters)that ghosting your HDD onto CDRW media is a waste of that media. Once you've copied a ghost image there is no getting rid of it! I'm not sure why but you can't erase the disck. It just sits in the CDRW drive, and makes a clicking noise. No problem bringing it up on the CD drive, or using the image. The CDRW drive wont read it anymore. Just FYI.

What program did you use to ghost the HD on CD-RW ? And what program you're using to erase those CD-RW ? You might need to perform full format of CD-RW instead of just erasing it in some cases.

I used Norton Ghost to create a boot disk and bootable CD's. I used CD-RW medium so I could ,of course, reuse the CD's. I tried to erase the disks on my Teac CD-RW drive using Adaptec software. I can't get the disks to be recognized by the software. They just sit in the drive and click. If I could get the CD to be recognized I could format it.

Try another soft, NTI CD-Maker or Nero, they may work for you. I just don't like EZCD Creator since it became Roxio's :(
