Hi People,

Just a quick question for anyone who has knowledge of outlooks net folders.

Scenario:
Net folders has been setup successfully and running fine between 2 computers.

I'd like to change the Network IP for each computer to a different IP i.e from 192.168.20.xxx to 192.168.25.xxx

Also, I'd like to change the POP3 and SMTP IP address as well.
i.e both computers will use the same BUT new POP3 and SMTP IP address

My question is, will this affect the net folders in anyway?
Will it retain its settings and continue to work as if nothing happend? or will all settings be lost, and i'll have to re-configure netfolders again?

Many thanks!

you will probably have to set up the net folders again, but you hve nothing to lose by trying (as long as you save the folder info)

i think it will work no problem and should - of course we all know the difference between should and actually does :)
i assume this is a type of mirroring so the mail system always looks the same from either computer.
