I bought, so I thought, a Procomp BVK1A Slot A mobo. The box and manual confirm that ID. However, the Bios string IDs the board as a Biostar M7MKE as does Sandra 2002 and CTBIOS. Here's the entire string:
04/01/2000-8371-686A-6A6LKB09C-00. I'm running an Athlon Classic 950, 1GB PC133, GeForce 2 GTS 32MB DDR, CMI8738 PCI Soundcard, Realteck NIC, with WIN XP Pro. The system runs perfectly but looking to the future for bios flashes, drivers, etc, I would like to positively ID this board. I have written Procomp Tech Support but have not recieved a reply as of yet. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. THANKS!! Bill
