You can go to users under the control panel to add a logon I believe. joeblack 02-16-2002, 09:46 PM thnx m8, ill give it a go joeblack 02-16-2002, 09:55 PM thnx m8, ill give it a go Bizkitkid2001 02-16-2002, 11:50 PM If you don't have a passward for your screen name it won't show the login screen it will just start windows. Its skips it because there is no reason to go to the login screen without a password. If you go to start control panel and then into user accounts you can set a password. dmoltrup 02-17-2002, 12:16 AM Bizkitkid2001, it isn't really whether there is a password. If you don't use passwords you can still get the log-on screen by creating another user profile, or allowing 'Guest Log-on'. The guest log-on will have a picture of a suitcase. Bizkitkid2001 02-17-2002, 01:42 AM yeah but he didn't say anything about having other users on his comp. I was just saying that if he only had one user on his comp RalphArch 02-17-2002, 09:21 PM perhaps he is installed with FAT32 partition instead of NTFS joeblack 02-18-2002, 12:29 PM i sorted it thnx- it was easy i forgot to set the password for loggin on :) Bizkitkid2001 02-18-2002, 01:51 PM I was right you were wrong NENER NENER NENER!! Sorry dmoltrup just had to say it!!:D dmoltrup 02-18-2002, 01:55 PM Actually, we were both right. If he didn't want to bother with entering a password each time he turns on his computer, he could just add another user and he simply has to click on his main one. SysOpt.com
