A friend of mine has a Procomp AL-583 motherboard running a AMD 266 Mhz cpu. He has the flash program to upgrade his bios to version 1.2 and was wondering if he could install an AMD 500 Mhz cpu after flashing. I can't seem to find any definite answers elsewhere and would appreciate any info that would help me to answer his query.
