Looking for video camera for video conferencing that can also be taken away from the computer and used to take snapshots
e.g. Creative Labs Videocam
Like to get feedback on decent units.

I've used a couple of cheaper units.

The best quality wise was the Polaroid "Fun Flash"

Cheap looking, pitiful LCD picture on the camera.

BUT ! The photos it takes are very good for a $100 camera.

It is the best 640x480 camera that I've seen.

Confession, I've not used it as a web cam, though I'm pretty sure it does that too.

I go through so much hardware sometimes the details get lost in the fog.

DON'T get the Yahoo web cam, the resolution is very poor.

One more thing , the Polaroid has a little brother without a flash, forget the name, but K-Mart has them for $50.00.

I know the model number, 320.

I'm pretty sure they are the same camera as the setup on the FF allows a choice between the two, AND they look a lot alike.
