I have asus p4t motherboard and 1024 mb radram might be more later .

If i have a lots of memory do i have to worry about overheat ?

or other reasons??

Memory is very benign. If it works, it works. It produces very little heat. You can cook it with enough flame, but all the wires in the PC would be goo by then.

Don't "sweat" it. :cool:

Just make sure you are using WinNT/2000/Xp and not 95/98SE/ME.

Out of memory errors are annoying when you have > 512 MB of memory. (However, as long as he has multiples of 512MB he should be ok in Win9x)
