Need help fast

ahve a doc written on MS works need to read it and edit with MS word, anyone know if theres a translater?

I use both so never had to translate between the 2. I just tried opening a Works document with Word 2000 and it prompted me to insert the Office disk to load a translator.
Are you trying this on a earlier version of Word?
