Asus P3V4X - latest BIOS revision from site
VIA - latest supported 4in1 drivers on their site
Windows 2000
ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon AGP video card - latest driver
Creative Blaster MP3
Creative 6x DVD
QUE CD-burner

Ever since I replaced an old PCI video card with my AIW AGP card my machine hangs on reboot or shutdown and I wind up having to do a hard shutoff of reset. Everything else seems in order. I left the BIOS untouched and reloaded SP2 with no success. Call me lazy but I did not want to remove everything and re-install one component at a time. Any ideas?

You're lazy.

You asked for it! :p

I would check in your bios, usually somewhere in there you can set your initial display device from PCI to VGA. I don't know if that will help but it is worth a shot.

Head into you BIOS and disable all caching and shadow options.
ATI video cards hate those things and will cause lockups or problems with the card.
