Hello

Is their a registry key to say at what speed that windows will activate memory ?

Reason i am asking is that my settings have changed and i cannot seem to return them to previous state.

now= 7-1-1-1R 6-1-1-1W
before 7-1-1-1R 4-1-1-1w

Any help will be appreciated.

There's no registry setting to affect that -- that's controlled by the mobo. I don't understand how this got changed unless you did it inadvertently. You might be able to change this in the Bios, depending on the available options. Might try going back to "Default" settings, then change the options to suit yourself, then resave. If not, a program like TweakBios can make it possible; D/L here:
