Asking for a FIC 503+ because I am familiar with this board. Most have the bios chip soldered in, and when a flash goes bad, its usually junked. I want to try unsoldering the chip, install a socket and try a new chip.

I have read quite a few posts concerning this happening to the 503+ board, and unless they were trashed, there should be some laying around somewhere gathering dust.

If anybody has one...I'm interested...thanks.

This has nothing to do with anything.....But...
I have a slot A MoBo, and I'm thinking of giving it away or trading it for something.
Oh well...

hey, i have a bcm fic mobo in working order.... bios is still good so u dont have to do all that soldering and desoldering.... i'll even throw in a proc.... 150 mhz pentium socket 7.... i had an offer for a pci modem for it, but if that falls through, make me an offer, and email ma at holter03@jefftech.tec.pa.us
